  • Zara is the litter mate of BSZS VA Zet vom Napte-Emmer-Eck
Despite an early sale to China (which limited his use in Europe), Zet vom Napte-Emmer-Eck’s bloodlines are highly regarded for helping to restore the classic protective drive of the West German Show Line. His show career was stellar. At two years old he earned the coveted BSZS title VA10, and at three he captured VA2. Accomplishments that drew immediate interest from top breeders even before any offspring proved themselves. Evaluations of Zet highlight his tremendous drive and work ethic: judges praised his “very powerful, very far-reaching gait” and secure, confident temperament (TSB pronounced). Attributes that convey a truly commanding presence. Breeders believe infusing these genes will help reintroduce the line’s inherent guarding instincts (protective nature) is known to be an inheritable trait in GSD's. Notably, Zet’s littermate Zara already exemplifies these qualities: she is a harmoniously built female with “TSB ausgeprägt” (pronounced drive) and a huge prey drive, making her a valuable alternative for reinforcing the working-drive in future breeding programs.

Zara’s Breed Survey: Large, medium-bodied, dry and firm, stretched. Good top and bottom line, very good angulations, balanced chest ratios, correct front. Pedaling straight, she shows powerful replenishment and very good right of way. TSB. V. Harmonious with very good angulations.

As a side note: Zara tends to reproduce the males she is bred to while adding drive and protection to the pups.
